Do you love dogs!?! ME TOO!! I'm Huey, and if you have a kind heart and can be patient, I will be a great dog for you. I'm a friendly, sweet boy, though I can be a bit shy as I navigate this big world. Having a dog sibling helps me feel braver-I love to follow their lead! I'm crate trained and mostly potty trained, but I'll need your help to remember to go outside. I'm well-mannered at home but may need some space to settle in. Give me a little time, and I can't wait to be your best friend forever!

All adoptable animals are currently in foster homes. Please email adoptnwa@bestfriends.org to arrange a meeting.

Pay Fee

Standard cat adoption fees are $50 for adults and $100 for kittens. Standard dog adoption fees are $100 for adults and $150 for puppies.

Additional adoption info

We strive for an open adoption process that helps you find the right pet for your family. We have standard adoption fees, but offer frequent adoption promotions with reduced adoption fees. During the adoption process there is a brief consultation with our Adoption Specialist and a short contract to sign prior to finalizing the adoption. Best Friends commits to the pets for life and we will take back the pet if they can no longer be cared for in your family. Adopters must be 18 years or older to adopt a pet.
