Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Snookums is a playful, beautiful, snuggly 1.5 year old gal (born approximately 1/16/23). She is looking for a new home because her human mom has to move into a nursing home and Snookums can’t follow her there unfortunatey. She has been a wonderful, loving companion for her senior mom but she will do great in nearly any home setting.
Snookums has striking blue eyes and gorgeous snowshoe patterns. When people come to visit, she is happy to meet them but she does a funny thing where she will probably first dive under a quilt when someone first comes in but then she very quickly pops back out from her comfy spot to see what’s going on.
She is very playful and enjoys running through a tunnel and she often gets the zoomies which is fun to watch. Catnip and wand toys are favorites for her. She will also jump up on your lap and hang out for short periods of time in between play and exploring time. She will definitely want to sleep with you at night or when you’re taking a nap on the couch – those are great times to snuggle close to you. She will let you pick her up but she is a little timid about it and isn’t a huge fan.
Snookums has lived with another cat before and did fine so with a proper, slow introduction, she will likely do well with another cat again. She has never lived with children before but she will enjoy children who understand cat boundaries and ones that like playing with her. We don’t know how she would be with dogs.
As a youngster, she has many years of joy to provide to her new family.
