found as abandoned kitten, one owner

all black, long-hair

mixed-breed, 18 lbs.

Neutered, and has vet papers

has claws

doesn’t bite

tolerates being held/picked up but doesn’t enjoy it

gets along well with adult cats, especially female cats

quiet and shy, tends to hide when meeting new people

very independent, amuses himself, enjoys toys

needs a large space (house or large apartment)

enjoys going out on enclosed deck but might enjoy going outside (hasn’t had opportunity)

medical: has an inhaler for occasional asthma and eats vet-advised Hill’s Science Diet wet cat food for urinary tract health

uses litter box (had some inappropriate marking when he had a UTI last year)

needs new home due to owner having to move into small apartment

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer ran cat foster group that gives cats shelter in our homes until we can find them a permanent home. Our primary goal is to pull from kill shelters to control euthanasia. Our cats are all spayed/neutered prior to adoption and we display them at several pet store locations.
