My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Holden, a unique-looking 5-year-old with striking flecks of white in his black coat, a white blaze on his nose, and a white chest. This sweet boy came in as a stray and needs to gain a little weight. Eager to go outside, Holden pulls a bit on the leash but only because he urgently needs to go potty - he might be potty trained! He shows no reaction to the other dogs as he leaves his kennel.

During playgroups, Holden was definitely a perky player with another friendly female player. He engaged nicely and took corrections well. Holden was definitely less comfortable in the presence of a male. His best match would be a mid-level energy female who is non-dominant.

Holden takes treats gently, loves cuddles, and gives the best kisses. His tail is always wagging, showing his friendly and loving nature. Come meet Holden and take him to his forever home; he will reward you with endless kisses!

If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Holden 251141".

He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
