We are sadly rehoming our dog, Ivy. She is a Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix. She is 10 years old but still has a lot of energy and acts younger than that.
We have a 14 month old baby and Ivy does not like to be tugged on or have kids in her face which is causing her to growl at our baby, who is only getting more mobile and trying to chase Ivy.
We have been keeping them separate which does not give Ivy the attention she deserves and we want to give her a better home.
Ivy would do great in a home with adults and kids old enough to respect her space. She is very affectionate and cuddly with adults and so excited to have attention. She has been around a cat and is fine with him, but she doesn't like a lot of other dogs. If other dogs are around she ignores and tries to avoid them, but if they try to play with her she tucks her tail and growls.
Please let me know if you are interested in providing a loving home for Ivy and if you have any questions. ❤️
