Greta is such a sweet black Lab mixed-breed dog with a soft, plush coat whose estimated DOB is 3/20/2024, and on 9/14/2024 she weighed in at 30 pounds. She was found as a stray and cared for by her finder for a short time, but unfortunately, they were not able to keep her. They did say that Greta is good with adults, children, cats, and other dogs, so she would be a wonderful addition to just about any family! Greta is full of energy and love! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
