My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A few of our houndie babies have found their families and are doing so well at home, but we still have five of them left who are waiting for the right families to come along!

These gorgeous kiddos are almost 5 month old Bloodhound x Black and Tan Coonhound mix puppies born March 27th. The pups were the result of an accidental litter that was surrendered to us, and their mother is a purebred Bloodhound while their father is an AKC registered Black and Tan Coonhound. We have 2 males and 3 females still here with us!

Franklin - M
Atlanta - F

Raleigh - F

Both Bloodhounds and Coonhounds are very intelligent, curious, high energy, and high drive breeds who will need adopters with hound dog experience. Both breeds are very vocal and these pups love to sing.

The houndie pups are here with us at Camp L4P in Sarasota, Florida and their adoption fee is $400. They are fully vetted and ready to go home now!! If you are interested in adding one of these big babies to your family, please complete an adoption application at the link below or email us at info@love4pawsfl.org for more information!

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
