Duke is a 4-year-old male beagle with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. The dogs in his foster home have warmly accepted him, but he’s still figuring out how to play with them.

Duke is getting used to walking on a leash. He’s a little hesitant about walking on grass and isn’t a fan of getting his feet wet, but we’re help him adjust. Duke just needs a bit of time, patience, and good nutrition to bring out his full personality.

We’ve already seen glimpses of his playful side, like when he runs in the yard, and it’s a joy to watch! Duke is looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow and feel safe. If you’re ready to give this sweet boy the love and care he deserves, Duke is ready to be your loyal companion!

We offer a Foster program for those who would like to provide a temporary home to one in need.

All older puppies (6 mos or more) and adults are fully vetted prior to adoption.

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is a NO KILL animal rescue dedicated to providing shelter and loving care (which includes food, veterinary care and any other necessity) for animals that were abused, abandoned, owner surrendered, or destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will care for these animals until such time as a good, responsible, loving home can be found for all adoptable animals.
