My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Canon was brought in because the family couldn't keep him at home. In Canon's defense he would like to say "the people shopping at Ingle's kept buying him chicken and feeding him treats. How could he say no?" His family said Canon is crate trained, loves attention and has lived with other dogs. Canon enjoys car rides and is friendly and playful with children. His favorite toys are balls. He is good with dogs who are not overly dominant. He likes Amelia, a female dog here and others but seems to be thrown off if the dog is dominant or overly jumpy on him.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The whole process is easy and takes a matter of in-office minutes. While we like for our animals to find homes, we require adopting families to meet in our shelter. That way you can meet your new family member and make sure he/she is the one for you. Then we do the paperwork which takes only a little time. We look forward to meeting you.

More about this shelter

We are a compassionate shelter. Our job is to help our animals get ready for their "forever homes". We do this by making their stay with us comfortable, and giving them a healthy, clean, and safe temporary home.
