My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Huck!
Huck is the definition of a chill hound! He loves to go on walks and is wonderful on a leash. He wants attention from everyone he meets and hasn't met a dog friend he doesn't like. He is truly the perfect dog!

Huck enjoys the company of other dogs and would do great with another dog enjoying bouncy play or just lying around in the shade with other calm dogs. If you don't have other dogs, he would be thrilled to curl up on the couch with you and your family and meet all your friends!
Huck seems overly interested in cats, so a very slow introductions would be necessary.

Huck is already neutered, microchipped and current on all his vaccinations. We aren't sure why he hasn't been adopted yet because he is PURE PERFECTION in a hound body. He is waiting for you! Huck has been in our shelter since right after Thanksgiving of last year, so he is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club. Adoption fee sponsored by a generous donor!
