Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
12-year-old Henri was with his mom for over 11 years, and together, they went through a lot of changes. He first lived with his mom in a house with a yard, then in an assisted living apartment, and lastly, in a memory care facility. After Henri's mom became unable to care for him, he was entrusted to us through the Final Wish Program on July 25th.
Fortunately, shortly after Henri arrived at FFF, he was chosen for a Frosted Fling that turned into a Foster home. We have learned so much about him and what he is like in a home environment! His Foster Mom reports:
"Henri is a loving and gentle dog who adores attention. He approaches people with ease and is always eager to be petted. He loves cuddle time!
Henri is in great health and moves well, whether walking or running. He knows basic commands like "sit" and "stay," and he's accustomed to sleeping in his own fenced area as part of his bedtime routine. He has a good appetite, with a particular fondness for apples and watermelon. Henri is house-trained and uses our doggie door with ease.
Henri enjoys about two walks a day and loves playing catch, though he doesn't always fetch the toys or balls. Henri gets a burst of energy (zoomies) at least once a day, usually in the morning. He would thrive in a family with children who can match his energy, but he's also content in a quieter home where he can nap peacefully.
Henri doesn't seem to suffer from separation anxiety but would be happiest in a home with someone who works from home or is retired.
Henri's only goal is to shower you with love, stay close by, and enjoy plenty of naps!!"
If sweet Henri sounds like a fit for your family, please email adopt@frostedfacesfoundation.org to schedule a time to meet him.
