My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buddy, the fluffiest bundle of joy you never knew you needed! This adorable guy is a mix of Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees, which basically means he's a super-sized Golden with a big heart.

Buddy's early days were like something out of a doggy adventure movie. He spent his first year roaming free on an Amish farm, living his best wild-n-free life. But when he gained a deer-chasing hobby , he found his way to us- homeless in rescue!

Due to Buddy's enthusiasm for deer chasing, a fenced yard is an absolute must! This way, he can enjoy his outdoor time safely without the temptation of another grand adventure.

Buddy's training started from scratch-imagine teaching a dog what a collar is! He's now a pro at wearing one, enjoys indoor living, and is learning the ropes of being a well-behaved pup. He's come a long way, but there's still plenty for him to learn, and that's where you come in!

Buddy dreams of a forever family who will continue his training journey. This isn't just a suggestion-it's a must! He's looking for a family ready to commit to obedience classes and help him become the best dog he can be.

Buddy grew up with kids, a bunch of Amish kids! We think he would do best with older ones who can handle his size and enthusiasm. He's also a cat lover and would happily share his home with feline friends. When it comes to other dogs, Buddy's a bit selective, so a meet-and-greet is essential to see if he clicks with your pup.

Ready to add some extra fluff and endless joy to your life? Buddy's waiting for his forever family to take him home and shower him with the love he deserves.

Our Founder & President
" I was born to be a voice for the voiceless! This is deep rooted in my soul. From an incredibly young age, I have been their voice and continue to be heard"

Our founder and president, Judy Troyer, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She not only trains obedience but also focuses her advanced training on understanding aggression & rehabilitation protocols. She uses positive reinforcement techniques, for our rescues training and rehabilitation. With her knowledge and training style, many dogs have been given a second chance to live a healthy happy life.

Judy is a big advocate for clear communication, pain free and force free training techniques and is the voice for so many misunderstood dogs!
