My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kinzley!

A spirited almost five-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/American Bully mix from Reno, NV, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a luxurious blue fawn brindle coat adorned with charming white accents.

Kinzley is a high-energy bundle of love with a huge personality, ready to shower her new family with endless affection and excitement. If you're looking for a furry friend who is always thrilled to see you, Kinzley is the one! With her wagging tail and bright eyes, she has a knack for making every day feel special.

According to Embark DNA, Kinzley is a delightful blend of 60% American Bully and 40% American Pitbull Terrier, though her physical characteristics lean more towards the American Pitbull Terrier. Her personality is nothing short of amazing—she is very verbal (in a good way) and loves to be involved in all activities. Invite her into the shower, and she'll happily join you!

Kinzley has been well-behaved and trained, enjoying the run of the house and backyard without ever being destructive. She knows the difference between her toys and your slippers, making her a trustworthy companion. She only barks at appropriate times and is wonderfully protective of her people and home.

From a young age, Kinzley has been socialized around people and has yet to meet a person she didn’t love. Although she hasn't been around many dogs recently, she has never shown aggression towards other dogs during walks and hikes. Her sociable nature makes her a joy to be around, whether she’s meeting new people or exploring the great outdoors!

Kinzley’s favorite toys are heavy-duty chew toys, which she can spend hours playing with. She knows several commands, including sit, lie down, stay, come, get your toy, and drop it. Her playful and constant companion nature, combined with her friendly disposition towards strangers and good behavior with young children, makes her an ideal addition to a family that has a lot of love and attention to give!

In terms of care, Kinzley is vaccinated, spayed, house-trained, and microchipped. She does have minor skin allergies, but they are easily manageable. Kinzley thrives in a routine that includes being fed twice a day—once in the morning and once in the evening. She is also good when left alone for short periods, showing no signs of anxiety or stress.

Kinzley’s most endearing trait is her vibrant personality! She needs a loving home with a fenced yard and a pet parent who loves dogs and can provide plenty of attention. Are you ready to welcome this joyful and energetic companion into your home and heart?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our ultimate goal is to unite as many animals with loving pet parents as possible, so we strive to make it easy to adopt a dog or cat you have fallen in love with. All we ask is that you fill out an adoption application so that we have all the information we need to determine that you'll be able to provide a safe and compassionate home to one of our rescued pets. Once approved, all you need to do is sign our adoption agreement form and provide an adoption donation so that we can continue to save more animals every day and unite them with families just like yours.
