My name is Casper (TX)!

Casper (TX) is a male American Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Casper is 2 years old at the time of intake in January 2021. Casper is good with people and other dogs. Casper was tied to a car, dragged then left to die on the side of the road once again let down by humans. When you look at him, you can see all he wants is to be loved. His eyes say it all. Casper's foster reports that this sweet boy has faced some struggles along his journey. He truly loves his human, once he connects, and gets nervous when he is left alone for long periods of time. Casper prefers to sleep in bed with his humans under the covers so he knows his human is close, no crates for this gentle giant.He loves car rides where he can stick his head out of the window and feel the breeze in his face.  Casper would love to have a patient family who can welcome him in with open arms.
