Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokey is ready for adoption! He has been neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for flea/tick, and tested negative for the FIV/FeLV viruses. Smokey is one of several cats and kittens we have taken into our care from a family doing the responsible thing while prepping their parents' farm, that passed away, to be listed. We are working with them to foster and find homes for these cats and kittens. All of these cats are very sweet and friendly, some a bit fearful, but only one is feral of all the cats and kittens, which is the mother to the Cheese Crew kittens. Smokey is estimated to be about 6 months old and was a bit reserved at first in foster care but has quickly turned around and allows pets and loving from his foster mom and gets along wonderfully with all the other cats around him. He is a true beauty, a panther, if you will, and ready for his forever family.

Submit Application

Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application form on our website and submit.

Interview

We conduct a phone call with the potential adopter to go over a list of standard questions to ensure the animal of interest is a good fit.

Home Check

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will take place with the adoptable and any other animals in the residence to ensure all animals get along.

Approve Application

If vetting on current pets are up to date and references check out, adoption will be approved

Max Raven Animal Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, foster-based animal rescue. Our mission is to save lives and rescue animals in Nebraska and surrounding states with urgent rescue needs. We strive to create a safe and loving environment for discarded and special needs animals.

Our goal is to go from a strictly foster-based rescue to expanding our home base to an acreage, to further our vision of building a sanctuary for animals deemed unadoptable. Giving them a safe and loving home to live out the rest of their days in the care of Max Raven Animal Rescue. We want to provide a happy and loving home for all the animals that come across our path and do our due diligence to save as many animals as possible from euthanasia.
