Meet Riot, your new best friend and running buddy! Riot is a smart, loyal and very affectionate male dog who loves to play. He enjoys learning new tricks and is highly trainable. Riot has lots of energy and is looking for an active person or family who will be his companion on long walks and runs, and can help him expend some of his energy. He would suit someone who enjoys the outdoors and has plenty of space for him to run around and explore. Meet the Pet

Visit with the pet in his/her foster home or at a meeting location.

2.
Submit Application

Send in an application or bring one with you to the meet & greet!

3.
Take the Pet Home

Some fosters will bring pets home to you to make sure everything is safe and secure. Some will be ready to go at the meet & greets!

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee ($175.00 for adult dogs; $200 for puppies & $100 for cats) is for an already-altered pet or a voucher to get the pet altered and up to date on all shots. An adoption form will be required along with an agreement to have the pet altered within 30 days (or by 6 months of age).

West Side Animal League is a volunteer organization that rescues animals from various Fort Worth area shelters. We strive to accomplish our goal of responsible pet ownership by raising public awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets and holding adoption events, spending quality time socializing the animals and in many cases bringing them into our homes as fosters until they can find their own fur-ever home.

We provide vaccinations and medical care as funds are available. 100% of our expenses are covered by donations and adoption fees. We are only able to accomplish this through the generosity of both time and money from others who also want to make the world a better place for our furry friends.
