Harper is working hard to become a more confident dog. She is currently anxious and skiddish around the humans in her house. Given time, patience, and understanding, we are confident Harper will be worth the wait!
Her ideal home will include plenty of spaces were she can feel safe, humans who understand that she will take time to warm up, a doggy pal that can show her the world isn't scary, and a fenced in yard as she is always looking for a way to escape. She also needs help in continuing her potty training as she still is not able to hold it for a long time. We are currently working with our vet to fund medications that will help her feel more comfortable in her surroundings. We would like her future adopter to continue working with the vet to help find the right treatment as she continues to grow and learn!
Most of all Harper needs time, space, and humans that will show her all the love and compassion she deserves!

We find loving, responsible, committed permanent homes. An in-depth adoption process is used. This includes taking considerable care in finding perfect matches and educating potential adopters about the responsibilities of bringing a dog, especially that particular dog, into their life. Applications may take several days to process and you may not hear from a UU Board member for up to a few weeks at most.

More about this rescue
Unforgettable Underdogs Dog Rescue is a volunteer run non-profit and no-kill dog rescue serving Northeast Wisconsin. We are dedicated to rescuing the underdogs, those who have found themselves homeless. We strive to help dogs in public high-kill shelters, abandoned or dogs being abused or neglected.
Dogs we care for are spayed or neutered, treated for any medical needs they have, and placed into loving foster homes until they find their permanent home. We aim to help dogs in need without discriminating against age or breed as space in foster homes permit. As our finances allow, we aim to take on the most underdog of the cases and help dogs in the most need.
