My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princess, along with Rosey, Hazel, Leo, and Max, sadly had to come to our shelter due to a change in the owner's housing's rules. She is used to living with cats and kids but has not recently lived with a dog. However, she didn't seem too bothered by the Shelter Manager's dog, so she could potentially get used to living with one with a slow introduction. Princess is very sweet, calm, and gentle. She enjoys naps and attention. Whoever adopts her will have to keep an eye on and brush her coat to prevent it from becoming matted.

Our adoption application can be found here:

https://www.secondchancear.org/adopt-1

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, de-wormed, tested for FeLV/FIV, and treated for fleas before adoption.

Additional adoption info

At this time, due to increased demand, we are not open for "normal" visiting hours and are doing adoptions and meet-and-greets by appointment only to those with approved applications on file.

Please note that per the state of NH, in order to adopt cats/kittens to people out-of-state, the cat/kitten must have a health certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian (after an exam) prior to adoption. This means that anyone living outside of NH will not be able to do a same-day adoption, as once they meet and choose a cat, we will have to make a vet appointment to have them seen for their certificate (we do not have a veterinarian on staff).
