Hi there, I`m Deema! I`m a kitten with a big personality. I`ve got sweetness in spades, always ready to nuzzle into a friendly hand. I`m also quite the social butterfly, eager to make friends with everyone I meet. My smarts? They shine through in the clever games I invent. You might catch me being a goofball, making funny faces, or chasing my own tail. My curiosity keeps me on my toes, exploring every nook and cranny. I can be a little shy, but give me time and I`ll be your playful companion. Why should you adopt me? Well, I`m not just a cat. I`m a friend, a confidante, a source of laughter and joy. With me, you`ll have a partner in every adventure and a cuddle buddy at the end of the day. I promise to fill your life with purrs, headbutts, and a whole lot of love.

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment ONLY. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via email at jcas@co.johnson.in.us or call 317-738-6090 during regular business hours. We will happily help get an application to you. You can also find one on our website at http://johnsoncountyanimalshelter.com/adopt/.

Once an application is submitted and approved, we can contact you to set an appointment to meet the pet!

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

More about this shelter

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
