Boone is a spirited 6-year-old Lab/Healer mix with a mind of his own. While his age might suggest he's slowing down, this energetic pup still loves to run and play. Boone has a lot of spunk for his years and will keep his owners on their toes!

Despite his active nature, Boone is neutered and does well with children, making him a great family companion. However, his relationship with cats is unknown, so caution is advised around feline friends.

One sure thing is that Boone is not a fan of baths. He tolerates them but would much rather be out exploring or chasing his favorite toys. Boone's independent spirit means he sometimes marches to the beat of his own drum, but his loving and enthusiastic personality makes up for his stubborn streak.

With his striking Lab/Healer mix appearance, Boone is a handsome boy who will bring endless entertainment and affection to the proper household. An active owner who can provide Boone with plenty of playtime, training, and patience will be rewarded with a loyal, playful companion.

We are located at 3 Arrow Avenue in Cody Wyoming. Our adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from noon-5:00. We have amazing dogs and cats!

More about this shelter

We are a small animal shelter located in the heart of the old west, Cody Wyoming. The majority of our funding comes from an amazing community of animal lovers who give whenever they can to help the many homeless pets in Park County. We currently have the facilities to care for as many as 25 dogs and 60 cats at a time. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and we are not affiliated with any political action organizations.
