Come and meet your new BFF! Louis was rescued, but his rescuers cannot keep him because they have a senior cat with stress-induced seizures, and Louis has a high prey drive for cats. They love him but keeping him isolated is not good for him or the rest of the household, so he needs a new home as soon as possible. His guardian reports: Louis has a lot of energy but does have an `off-switch`. He wants nothing more than constant pets and attention; as soon as a hand is on him gently, he`s beyond calm as well. His favorite thing to play with is his Jolly Egg and he enjoys playing fetch with a Frisbee also. He has good recall outside with his foster Mom, but not his foster Dad---so Louis would do best with a fenced in yard as he has a lot of energy and LOVES to run. Louis does well with the three large dogs he lives with but he is not cat-friendly. We are unsure if he would do well with small dogs or children. Louis was found running in the Mojave Desert of Southern CA, emaciated and searching for water. He was never claimed by a family and was not microchipped. He has since been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and crate-trained. He has responded INCREDIBLY well to the training we have done so far. He is not entirely house-trained and will chew/destroy/ingest things if left alone. For his safety, he should be crated when unsupervised. Can you give him an enriching life that he deserves? His guardians are available for support and questions, so please apply today!
