My name is Nala!

This sweet 4 year old pup has had a rough start to life and is looking for her forever home. Nala was found dumped in a ravine in Des Moines. She was badly abused, injured and very scared. With the help of our amazing staff and vet team, Nala has made an amazing recovery. However, she will need lifetime care as she has vision impairments and developing joint issues. Here is what the vet staff has to say about Nala. "She loves squeaky toys and car rides! She is kennel-trained and housebroken, too! She is nervous around men when first meeting them, but does warm up slowly and on her terms. It may have to do with her having less vision and no socialization. She has done fine with our cats and dogs, and I have noticed her being a little protective of her toys. All in all, she is a very sweet girl and I hope she finds the best home!"
