Betty is a spry, 12 year old cowgirl transplant from Texas. She was rescued from Front Street Animal Shelter and is a little Dallas cheerleader, as she loves to dance around on her hind legs! Despite her age, she loves being outside, but her favorite thing is to follow her human around! Whether it's inside or outside, she'll stick to you like glue as your little companion. She's perfect for someone who wants an older friend in their life, still with energy and a lot of love to give. She's a true little cuddle bug. At bedtime, Betty stands on her two hind legs and bows her two front paws to signal that she's ready to get into bed with you! She's great with the doggy door, ramps or steps and her age doesn't slow her down.
She recently had a physical exam at the vet and everything went great. She has good eyes, fur, skin and ears but she does have a grade 2 out of 6 heart murmur, but is not on any prescriptions. You won't have to worry about any dental work for Betty, as she doesn't have any teeth left, but she still eats dry food just fine. Having no teeth also means that her tongue flops out of her mouth sometimes which is very cute!
