My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Alani, the sweet and affectionate cat, may have lost her teeth due to stomatitis, a condition that caused her mouth to be painful and uncomfortable, but she's gained a special place in the hearts of those who meet her. This loving feline greets everyone at the door with a warm meow and a twitch of her tail, eager to share her love and affection. Alani is a chatty cat who loves to 'talk' and engage in conversations, her soft purrs and gentle mews a joy to behold. While she may not be a fan of being picked up, she adores attention and will happily snuggle beside you. With her unique preference for clumping litter, Alani is a cat with distinct tastes, and she's particularly fond of a clean litter box - she'll appreciate regular scooping and changes to keep her space fresh and tidy. After having her teeth removed to alleviate her stomatitis, Alani is now pain-free and enjoying life to the fullest. She gets along wonderfully with other cats, enjoying their company and playing nicely, but she wouldn't mind being the only kitty in the house either - she's happy to adapt to whatever situation brings her love and comfort. Despite her toothless grin, Alani's beauty shines through in her loving personality and joyful spirit. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines and negative for FIV/FeLV. Litter box trained. Her birthday is 6-1-2023.
