My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nature: Baxter loves his pack! He is busy running and playing all day. He checks in for love and a quick pet but can't stay long because his other dog friends need him. Baxter will take time to adjust to a new home. But if you work to see the world through Baxter's eyes and don't get frustrated because he doesn't care to see the world through your eyes, he will accept you. Eventually. www.leroysranchhands.com

More about this shelter

Our business supports Agriculture by cooperating with the Ranch and Sheep Dog Trial communities to acquire working border collies no longer able to perform duties due to:
Injury
Temperament
Age
We are a ranch dog rescue that builds the bridge between the dogs’ working background and their new urban lifestyles. We are very selective and accept only dogs whose temperament, age, or medical condition prohibits them from meeting the standard required for ranch and sheep dog trial work.
We then take the greatest care in matching these dogs with people with close to the same temperament.
