Kilauea: The purr-fect eruption of cuddles and curiosity!
Meet Kilauea, a unique and enchanting feline! With her striking beauty and keen intelligence, she captivates all who encounter her. Initially cautious around new people, she tends to observe from a distance, but as her trust grows, she will gracefully approach, seeking out affection. Witnessing her transformation is akin to observing a butterfly emerge from its cocoon.
Kilauea's grazing habits testify to her free-spirited nature, preferring to nibble throughout the day rather than indulging in large meals. When engaging with her feline companions, she revels in lively pursuits such as chasing and running games, skillfully flipping springs and balls into the air and embracing the thrill of hunting with feather wands and laser pointers while on the running wheel.
Kilauea is comfortable around other cats but is also quite independent. We are unsure of her experience with dogs and small children, but due to her quiet and reserved nature, she would probably not prefer to be around them.
If you think Kilauea would be a good fit for you, please visit the shelter to meet her or submit an adoption application today. -------------------- The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. -------------------- Interested in adopting Kilauea? It's easy! Just click "Adopt a Cat" on the EHS website (etobicokehumanesociety.com) and fill out our "Cat Adoption Form." An EHS representative will be pleased to help.
