Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Theo, a 2-year old blue Doberman Pinscher looking for a new home. Theo is a sweet and playful dog who loves snuggling, going for walks, and playing with his family. He's crate trained, knows many commands, and is fully housebroken.
Theo has shown dog aggression with unfamiliar dogs and has nipped his adult owners in response to high energy and overstimulation when seeing other dogs. He needs a calm, quiet household without young children and ideally no other dogs, unless they are a strong alpha. He lives with two cats, whom he sometimes chases but is also affectionate towards.
Theo behaves well on a leash and is not aggressive towards people. He needs an experienced owner who can provide structure and manage his reactivity. Despite his challenges, Theo is smart, trainable, and capable of being a wonderful companion in the right environment.
If you have a calm, structured home and experience with dogs with special behavioral needs, Theo could be the perfect addition to your family. Fill out an adoption application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DPR/Dog
Let's help Theo find the loving forever home he deserves!

All dogs are in foster homes in various parts of central and eastern PA as well as central NJ. We do adopt dogs out of state as long as the potential adopter is willing to drive to where the dog is being fostered for a meet and greet and to take the dog home. We do not ship dogs and we do not have a central location.
