My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy is our playful baby girl! She loves being a part of any activity and doesn’t have much of an “off” button. Her favorite kind of toy is any kind of string and she absolutely adores ambushing her siblings for a playful scuffle! She is always running about and loves to be loved on and played with by her foster family. She can be a bit too intimidating to her brothers and sisters during play, though, so she would do well in an environment where there are other cats or dogs who could keep up with her energy and strong personality! Pairing her up with any fur-brothers or sisters who are naturally timid could go either really well and bring out their playful side, or it could cause them anxiety and result in them frequently hiding. Missy is a great cat but she also can become withdrawn in a new environment she is unsure of. So please be patient with her, let her adjust and give her plenty of positive reassurance, and you’ll see her personality shine! She weighs 3 pounds and is 12 weeks old.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.

Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
