Mars came to us after his owner moved into assisted living and couldn't take him along. He is a chill and easygoing companion, perfect for a calmer environment. Being small and a little older, Mars would thrive in a peaceful household where he can relax and enjoy his golden years. Leash trained: Yes, but prefers to be held or strolled around ;) 
Kennel trained: Yes
Rides well in a car: Yes 
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Not fostered with cats but we imagine he'd be fine 
Good with young children (under 10): Would do best with older kids given his age and size 
Apartment qualified: Yes
Health concerns or special needs: recentally had a much needed dental cleaning - Lost most of his teeth and requires watered down kibble

Mars is a Russian toy Papillon mix and is around 8 years old . This puppy/dog is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $200 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter.
