My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Bongo

Gender: Male

Breed: Cattle Dog

About Bongo: Meet Bongo, the dynamic 3-year-old, 30 lb Cattle Dog Mix who's ready to groove his way into your heart! This clever pup is as smart as they come—intuitive and quick to pick up commands, making training a breeze. Mental stimulation is his jam, and he thrives on learning new tricks and facing challenges head-on.

Bongo's energy matches his spirited personality—he's perfect for active families and adventure seekers alike. Whether you're hitting the trails or jogging through the park, Bongo will keep pace with you every step of the way. And don't worry about home life—while he's a great watchdog, he's also adaptable to a calm environment.

He's already mastered potty and leash training, and his loyalty is unmatched. Though he may be shy with strangers at first and prefers a cat-free zone, Bongo's love for company and eagerness to learn make him a standout companion.

Bongo's journey began on the streets of Guadalajara, where his rescuer couldn't resist his charm and has been caring for him ever since. Now, he's looking for a forever family through Northwest WAG Rescue. He will be a great PNW dog!

They are currently in Mexico awaiting a family committed to a 10-day trial. If interested, please apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org. The adoption fee is $550 and includes up-to-date vaccines, a negative heartworm test, spaying/neutering, and microchipping.
