My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Friendly, sweet yellow lab mix puppy.

Hi I am Ceres,

I am a young puppy with the most beautiful green eyes. I know because my foster mom always tells me that. I am pretty independent; I like to play with my siblings but I also like to be alone and chill out too. I like to nap and often fall asleep before any of the others

I learn new things every day, and I have already learned how to swim! Some things still scare me a little bit but I am curious to find out what it is. Loud noises don’t really bother me. I do react when the other big dogs bark, but I don’t run and hide or anything.

I don’t live with kids or cats, but I think they would be ok if we got to know each other. Maybe we could play with toys together. I like the squeaky ones or sticks and ropes.

I love to give kisses, snuggle and give ear nibbles.  I am quite content to lay in my foster’s arm and chill out.

I have been in the car, I don’t get sick or anything, but it can be scary, I probably need more practice.

I love my food especially when we get some little extra yummy wet food, I know there is lots to go around so I don’t guard my food. We are still working on potty training; I think I still need more time to get the hang of it.

If you are looking for a young pup that you can teach to be the best dog then fill in the application and let's meet!

Lots of love,

Ceres

More about this rescue

Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non-profit dog rescue in San Diego, CA

Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue was founded by volunteers in San Diego. Our goal is to "Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome" rescued dogs from San Diego and Baja California.

We love Baja and understand that it is a struggle for some of the people to provide a proper home and care for their dogs. We rescue dogs that are running through traffic, starving on the streets and have no one to care for them. Sadly, many are in poor condition and need medical care. We provide that care with the help of volunteers and veterinarians on both sides of the border. Our adoption fees are used to pay for the care of these pups.

Our dogs and puppies are kept in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes. If you see a dog/puppy you would like to meet, we will put you in touch with the foster family. We also do adoption events around San Diego, please check our website for upcoming events.

Our "Baja Blends" as we like to call them make wonderful pets and will shower you with love to show you how grateful they are to be in a loving home.

We are most grateful to those who adopt a dog that has been rescued and especially one of ours.
