My name is Venus!

Meet Venus - a cute low-rider pup who is ready for her forever home! Her recent foster mom helped Venus become the best dog she could be. She gets along with cats.  She is mastering potty training and is able to use  pee pads (working on going outside). She does fantastic in the car (but gets a bit nervous getting in and out), and is working on her leash training. See more about sweet Venus below!

Hi I am Venus! I am just a puppy, and some would say a “low rider”. That means I have short legs; I think that might have come from my dad. I am chocolate brown with a white patch on the chest and lovely green eyes. I am pretty independent and love to run. I like to play with my siblings, I am most often the last one to lay down for a nap there is just too much to do.

I learn new things every day, and guess what, I already know how to swim, and I'm pretty good at it! Some things scare me a little bit, but I am curious to find out what it is. Loud noises don’t really bother me. I do react when the other big dogs bark, but I don’t run and hide or anything.

I love to give kisses, snuggle and give ear nibbles.  I am quite content to lay back and get a belly rub.
