Phelps approaches life with the spirit of a champion. After all, hes named for the legendary Olympic swimmer, Michael Phelps! But our Phelps couldve had a sink-or-swim future without the intervention of trap-neuter-return. He was born in Whiskers TNRs care to a mom from a large outdoor colony that has since been 100 percent spayed and neutered, explains his foster dad. Today, Phelps claims a spot on the Whiskers leader board for that handsome buff coat of his as well as his playful antics especially if he can give his littermates a good-natured smackdown. He loves to play Wrestlemania with his two brothers. He would do great anywhere that he has a wrestling partner. Can he bounce off the ropes into your arms?

Whiskers TNR of Warren County aims to improve the quality of life for the county’s stray, dumped and feral cats. We also help responsible pet owners with expenses related to having their cat spayed or neutered. Whiskers provides educational information to increase public awareness of the need to better care for and prevent cats from becoming homeless. We encourage adoption and help strengthen animal rescue services throughout Warren County.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County supports humane education programs for the public and encourages respect and compassion for all animals. We strive to make a difference in the community, one cat at a time.

Whiskers TNR of Warren County is a corporation in the state of Iowa and is ruled by a board of directors. Whiskers is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. This means that your donation is deductible on your annual income taxes. Whiskers TNR became organized and tax exempt in June of 2016.
