🐾 Hey there! I’m Elder! 🐾
I’m a 1-year-old male Jindo/Corgi mix with a lovely white coat. Weighing just 8 kg, I’m a small bundle of joy looking for my forever home! 🐶
My Story: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time, and now I’m ready to find a loving family. I’ve been learning a lot at a training center, especially about walking on a leash. 🚶‍♂️
My Personality:
• I’m super affectionate and love to rub against people, whether I know them or not. I enjoy being touched and petted. 🤗
• I haven’t met children under 13 yet, but I’m open to making new friends! 🧒
• You can lift me up by putting your arm under my belly. I don’t mind at all! 🐾
• I’ll show you my belly for some rubs, even if we just met! 🥰
• I like to greet other dogs, but I don’t always play with them. 🐕
• I’m a bit scared of dogs that are bigger than me, but I’m friendly with dogs my size or smaller. 🐾
• High-energy dogs can be a bit overwhelming for me. 🐕‍🦺
• I might fight back if provoked, especially when toys or snacks are involved, so it’s best to introduce me to new dogs slowly. 🐶
• I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react. 🐱
• I enjoy outdoor activities but also love to rest quietly afterward. 🌳
• I’m still getting used to walking, so I might lie flat or panic if I’m scared. Please be patient with me. 🐾
• I don’t guard my food and I’m calm in a kennel. 🥣
• I’m a quiet boy and hardly ever bark. 🐾
• I’m potty trained and use both indoor pads and go outside for my bathroom needs. 🚽
Fun Fact: I’m good with strangers and even let them hug and lift me up. You can pet me while I’m eating snacks or playing with my favorite toy. 🦴

Chenny's Happy Tails Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
