My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Young Derby is a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy who could be a great addition to your family.

* Sweet and approachable
* Loves people
* Other dogs unknown pending test
* Gung-ho for walks and other activities
* Confident
* Smart but needs training

We think Derby is part Belgian Malinois. He starts walks very bouncy with nervous energy but listens to his handler and catches on very quickly to new commands. This long-legged boy is tall but lanky and not very heavy or muscular, so he's fairly easy to handle on the leash. He'd be a great trail or running partner.

Did you know FAAS offers $200 of canine behavior training with every dog adoption?

We're open noon to 4PM every day but Monday at our 1590 Fortmann Way location in Alameda, California, so come meet your next new family member!
