My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is a stunning two year old German Shepherd looking for her forever home. With her sleek black and tan coast, she's a real head-turner! This friendly and energetic girl loves people and enjoys playing fetch and going on adventures. Sophie is intelligent and trainable, already knowing basic commands. She's eager to please and would thrive with an active family who can provide her with the exercise and attention she craves. If you're ready to add a loyal companion to your life, Sophie is ready to join your family.

More about this rescue

Shepherd's Paws Animal Rescue was established in 2015 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the specific purpose of operating an all breed animal rescue. We are dedicated to providing rescue to abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless animals. We rescue dogs in the United States from imminent death at animal shelters, humane societies, pounds, and from owners who can no longer keep their dogs, and place them into new and permanent adoptive homes.

All of our dogs receive vet care, are up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered.
