My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Clancy!🐾
Oh, what a sweet, happy boy! Clancy is around 1.5 to 2 years old and has a wonderful personality. He’s laid back, loves to be close to you, and is calm both in his kennel and when out and about.
Clancy walks well on a leash and gets along great with other dogs. He would do well with cats and kids too.
Come meet this amazing boy and see if he’s the perfect fit for your family! 🐾.

More about this shelter

In 1987, an initial attempt was made to organize a local humane society in Caroline County. While this attempt did not succeed, those same dedicated volunteers were not deterred.

From our humble beginnings 30 years ago, to where we are today, we are proud to be called “the little shelter that could”.

We provide service to our community through pet adoption, Rabies Clinics, Trap-Neuter-Return, Pet Pantry, Pet Lost & Found, Re-homing, Intake Diversion, Cremation
