Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Giselle is a beautiful hound girl from Virginia. She's very sweet and affectionate; a little shy at first but loves attention and warms up quickly. She's been in a foster home where she's a typical young hound, active, jumps around her pen, would love to chase deer, rabbits, squirrels, and cats, but is not aggressive. She may be able to be trained to live with a cat. She'd be happy with another dog to play with. Giselle loves her food but has not displayed any aggression around food. We think she'd be fine with kids. She'll need a tall fence, and should not be left alone outside, she can jump vertically when she gets excited. She can be a barker, especially at wildlife. Giselle is learning leash manners; it's pretty clear that leash walking is new to her and she'll need some training. She has potential to be a great pet and companion with a little patience and TLC. Giselle is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 52 lbs. Arriving in Massachusetts August 24.
