My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Amor and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 2 year old female Shepherd mix who is eager for a new home! Here's a fun fact... Amor means "Love" in Spanish, which means I have a whole lot of loving waiting for you! My name really does match my personality, I'm super sweet and love to cuddle while also showing you how playful and energetic I am. I do know 'sit' and in the process of learning to be housetrained. I lived in an apartment and wasn't exposed to much, so new things and people take me a minute to get used to but once I am I am so happy and excited to see you. Patience will be key with me, but I promise that I am worth it.

To meet me, please email adopt@sbhumane.org.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
Ready to adopt or want to hear more about me? Just email adopt@sbhumane.org! Staff are available seven days a week for adoptions by-appointment, and we offer walk-in cat and kitten adoptions Fridays-Sundays 12pm-4pm.

Transfer of animals may be available between our Santa Maria and Santa Barbara Campuses. If an animal you would like to meet is at the campus further away from you, just let us know when you email, and we will be in touch with you if a transfer is available. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
