Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adopted!
Foster Mom and Dad will be adopting this sweet girl after all vetting needs are done.
Meet Blondie soon to be called Callie. She is a 5- to 7-year-old reddish buff Cocker Girl. She came from a NC Shelter. They said she was running around as a stray and covered in fleas. She was given multiple baths, and they found that she had whipworms. They guessed her to be 4 to 5 years old, but our vet said that she is older as indicated above.
This Cocker girl is very sweet, rides well in a car and walks pretty well on a leash. We learned from our vet that she came in with ear infections, needs to be spayed, have a dental and treatment for whipworms. She was pretty good on the table but didn't like the staff messing with her ears or looking at her teeth. Testing was done showing a grade 3 heart murmur and severely anemic. This diagnosis sometimes indicates that she had heartworms at one point even though she is now testing as heartworm negative. She was on a liquid iron supplement for the anemia issue and the meds helped her. She will be spayed and have a dental early September. She was groomed and is in a foster home in Statesville. No young kids, teen and older okay. Foster will be adopting her after all vetting is done.
Her adoption fee is $400.
