Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Magic is a friendly young dog with lots of love to give!
We first learned of Magic in the beginning of July, when her foster family had reached out, looking to see if we could help. They had been taking care of Magic for about 2 years, after her elderly owner wasn't able to take care of her anymore. At first, they were hoping that Magic would only be with her foster family for a short while when her owner was in and out of the hospital, but it soon became apparent that her owner wasn't going to be well enough to take care of Magic again and she's been with her fosters ever since.
Magic is athletic and smart, and while she's not a big fan of toys, she loves to just be with people! She's game for literally whatever you want to do. Want to go hike a mountain? She's ready to go! She loves to explore and is always curious about her surroundings. Want to have a lazy day and barely get off the couch? She's ready to stay curled up with you all day long! She is affectionate and gentle, and loves to give kisses.
She does well with other large dogs, as long as they're okay with her being the boss, and is currently living with a young Cane Corso. Her fosters report that she hasn't really shown much interest in smaller dogs. She's also living with a cat and does great with her, so she would do great in a home with a confident cat.
Most importantly, Magic does great with kids of all ages! She recently came and spent the day at one of our open houses and had tons of kids (and adults) come running up to her to say hi and to give her some attention and she loved every second of it. When we first met Magic, she had come to the farm with her fosters and we had a little photo shoot, to get some pictures of her and to get to know her a bit better and I had known her for maybe 5 minutes before she was crawling into my lap to give kisses. When I say Magic is a good dog, I mean Magic is a GOOD dog and deserves to have a home just as perfect as she is!
