Meet Liza! She is a 3 yr old female Beauceron/Lab Retriever mix that weighs 53lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 7/23 as a stray. This lovely girl is a beauty! She has a gentle soul, and she shows it with how she takes treats, walks well on a leash, and enjoys being petted and having her ears scratched. She was so excited to go for a walk and run through the yard, she did jump a bit, but listened when I redirected her. She loves fluffy dog beds the moment she saw one, she told me that it was hers! It's clear Liza wants to find her own loving family that can provide her a secured backyard to play in, but lives indoors, taking those long snoozes on her own dog bed. As we walked past the other dogs barking she did show interest in them, but no aggression. We do always ask if there is another dog in the home to please ask the shelter for a dog test. She enjoyed taking in all the smells when we went for a walk so please come spend time with her, take her for a walk and see if you can offer her the loving forever home she deserves.
