Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HETTIE (TENNESSEE)
Hettie is a 11yr old (estimated)Yorkie girl who weighs 12lbs and is being fostered near Ashland City, TN. Out of State Applications will be considered if it is a good fit for Hettie.
If you are looking for a dog as a companion, Hettie is your gal! She truly enjoys being with her person and wants to be your best friend. She loves to talk to you and cocks her head to the side when you talk to her. She follows Foster mom everywhere and even lays by the bathtub when Foster mom takes a bath. She does NOT have separation anxiety so no need to worry about that. When Foster mom goes to work she is content on laying in the doggie bed and napping. When Foster mom is home she will go to the door and bark when she wants to go outside. She enjoys exploring the yard and will go for walks but she does pull on the leash. Hettie gets along well with other dogs. She would also do well as the only dog on the home. Hettie enjoys playing with toys and prefers to sleep with her person at night. She rides great in the car and does well with home baths and home grooming but does get anxious at the vets office like most dogs do. Hettie enjoys her food very much but cannot be free fed she needs scheduled feedings with a measured amount to keep her weight in check. She is on a cd diet due to having Bladder Stone that was removed and the Doc recommended she stay on that food so that no more Bladder Stones form. She had a dental and she has been microchipped she is up to date on all shots and her bloodwork is good. Hettie is a great dog and is looking for her forever home. Don’t pass her up because of her age. She had a lot of love and energy and life left to give.
