My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mamacita, the 41-pound bundle of joy who's mastered the art of relaxation! At just 1.5 years old, she's the perfect low-energy companion who loves nothing more than leisurely strolls around the play yard, with her nose to the ground and her human by her side. A true foodie, Mamacita's heart can easily be won with treats, and her wiggles of joy when asked for pets are absolutely heart-melting. She's eager to please and dreams of a forever family who appreciates the simple pleasures in life. Mamacita would love to be your one and only fur baby, ready to bring endless cuddles and calm to your home. Adopt this sweet girl, and you'll have a loyal friend for life!

More about this rescue

After dogs are seized by law enforcement in relation to animal cruelty they're required to stay in a holding facility until their previous owner has been sentenced. This can be months or years. After sentencing, the dogs are no longer considered evidence and have a very short amount of time to find placement before being killed. Our organization strives to find responsible placements for all dogs involved in cruelty court cases and eliminate euthanasia for adoptable animals.
