Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Spirit is a 3-year-old cuddle bug. We rescued Spirit from AZ Humane after he was E-listed for medical concerns. Spirit has decreased mobility in his hind legs due to a possible pinched nerve. His decreased mobility does not stop him from living his best life and loving his family. This sweet dog was given a second chance by one of our amazing fosters.
Since arriving in his foster home, Spirit has shown that he loves his human and wants all the affection. He has declared himself a lap dog and doesn’t apologize for it. He loves to go on walks and play at the dog park. Spirit has been living with two other dogs and seems to be on the more independent side. He has shown a desire to steal food from other dogs, so he would benefit from being fed separately. This young guy loves car rides and the possible adventures they may bring. Walks have been a favorite past time for Spirit but not more than just loving his people. When Spirit was first brought to his foster home, he displayed some marking habits for about two weeks that has since resolved. Spirit is currently receiving treatment for pain management – he had acute symptoms when he arrive but now shows more dull stiffness that is more easily managed. He may still benefit from some type of physical therapy, and his regular walks with his foster seem to be helping so far. He has been thriving out of the shelter and will only continue to flourish with his furever family.
This lover boy wants nothing more than to be in a home with someone who will take him on adventures and is committed to helping him get back on his feet. Spirit has done well with school-aged children but has not lived with little kids. We are also not sure how he does with cats and can test to see how he does. If you want a dog who is going treat you like the center of their universe then Spirit is the one for you. Please fill out the adoption application form to meet this sweet boy.

Additional adoption info
We ensure that our huskies only go to families on a property with a 6ft secure fence, and remain the guardian of the animal for life - if there is ever need for a family to rehome their husky again due to health or any other major concern, we are always willing to take the dog back and find them a new home.

We do not have a physical shelter location just yet, and operate solely out of foster homes. We are planning to begin participating in adoption events in the near future - these will be listed on our website once available!
