His foster named hm Jelly Roll for the same reason some giants are named Tiny- you cannot believe how skinny this poor, sweet guy is. But if you know us, he'll be back in shape in no time and living up to his name!
I know we're a Pyr rescue, but I can never say no to a big, long-legged, awkward, goofball of an Akbash. The big galoot! He is absolutely the sweetest dog in the universe. <3

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
