My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! Our names are Prince and Baron and we are 4 month old male orange tabbies! We are a bonded pair so we are looking for our forever home together. We are both very friendly with people and have soft sweet meows, and we love to be held and cuddle. And did you know that Prince was born with a kinked tail? His tail bends 90 degrees at the end so he looks like a little mailbox! Baron is the more outgoing of us two but Prince can get in a pretty playful mood when with his brother. We cant wait to find our new home together!

If you are interested in adopting from us, please email cathousemac@gmail.com for more information. We require an approved adoption application before bringing a kitty home, and those can be found at https://www.cathousemac.com/adopt/adoption-application.

Go meet their pets

Our cat sanctuary is open by appointment. We want to be as accessible as we can to people who want to meet our kitties.

More about this shelter

The McPherson County Humane Society (now Cat House McPherson) was founded in 1979. We promote animal welfare and work hard to prevent animal abuse and/or neglect. We constantly stress the need and benefit of having all pets spayed or neutered! We are proud to have a stellar reputation of cleanliness and calmness at our cat shelter, which comfortably houses around 75 cats at any given time. Every one of our cats is tested, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered (age appropriate) before leaving our shelter.
