Within a span of about 4 weeks, both of Frankie’s owners died, leaving him all alone in the home while it was sold and quickly emptied with him inside. Luckily, STC was notified of this and were able to help. We were eventually able to gain entry into the home, and secure Frankie to get him to our vet. After a thorough exam, we found that he had horrible stomatitis of the mouth, as well as an abscess in his gums, and lesions on his teeth. The vet descrivbed Frankie's treeth as 'shards!' In order to alleviate his pain, we had extenive oral surgery on Frankie. He is now painfree and will not need further care for his mouth. We also had a comprehensive blood panel done and he is in perfect health! Despite what Frankie has been through, he is very sweet and affectionate. Frankie is about 6 years old and seems to get along great with other cats. He has been neutered, microchipped, given flea meds, wormed, and we also updated all of his vaccines. In addition, he has tested negative for FELV/FIV. We want to make sure that Frankie is taken care of and lives out his golden years with a family that will give him the love and security that he deserves. If you are interested in meeting Frankie, kindly fill out our application at www.savethecatsinc.com
