Meet Gus: A Sweet Senior Pug in Need of a Loving Home! 🐾
Say hello to Gus, a 12-year-old male pug with a heart as big as his adorable wrinkled face! Gus came to the Arizona Humane Society as a stray, and despite his rough start, he’s full of love and ready for his next chapter.

When Gus arrived, he had a large mass on his face that needed immediate attention. Thanks to the wonderful team at the Humane Society and the rescue support we rallied, Gus is scheduled for surgery to remove the mass and get a dental treatment on 7/25. This brave little guy is ready to feel his best again!

Gus may be a bit blind and deaf, but that doesn’t slow him down. His sense of smell is top-notch, and he has a strong appetite, eagerly sniffing out treats and his favorite foods. Gus’s greatest desire is to be loved and cherished in a forever home.

Despite his age and health challenges, Gus has a gentle and sweet nature. He gets along well with other dogs and we think he would be fine with cats too. Older children who can understand his limits and give him the gentle care he needs would be a perfect match for Gus.

Gus enjoys cozy naps, leisurely strolls, and all the cuddles you can offer. He’s looking for a family that can provide him with the love, care, and understanding he deserves in his golden years.
