Meet LUCA, a fun-loving standard Goldendoodle who brings joy wherever he goes.
This affectionate pup loves spending time outdoors, running around, and splashing in the water just as much as he enjoys cuddling up next to you after a long day. Luca knows basic commands, is house-trained, and thrives on being by your side. While he would do best in a home where he is the only dog, he enjoys playing with other dogs in the right setting. Luca sometimes gets overexcited, but with a bit of patience, he calms down and settles in. He loves going on runs and being part of any adventure. Luca's cheerful spirit and affectionate nature make him the perfect companion for an active and caring family. Luca is ready to bring his boundless energy and love to a new home!

We do not transport dogs. All dogs must be picked up from Northern VA in person by the adopter.

More about this rescue

Somerset Cottage Poodle Rescue, established in 2013, is an all volunteer 501c(3) dog rescue funded by your donations. We rescue companion and senior dogs, at risk for euthanasia, from overcrowded shelters and provide them with the medical attention they need. We also redone dogs for owners who can no longer care for them. We do not have a facility so all of our dogs live in foster homes through out the Northern Virginia area until their adoption day. We are proud that we find them perfectly matched forever homes and families. We rescue and find permanent homes for approximately 250 dogs a year.
